Overview and Purpose:
Awarding an educator with an APPLE Recognition Award is a perfect way to say “Thank you” during Teacher Appreciation Week, and your contribution supports the Bozeman Schools Foundation.
An APPLE Award is a public recognition of a specific teacher, administrator, staff member or school leader for their effort in education. It is a tax-deductible donation of any amount made to the Bozeman Schools Foundation in honor of your chosen educator. It publicly recognizes the educator while helping fund district-wide programs.
Your selected educator will receive the following:
- A personalized card with a message from you
- An apple, donated by Heeb’s Grocery
- Recognition of their honor on the Bozeman Schools Foundation website and social mediums
- Acknowledgement of their distinction given to the school principal
How to Give an APPLE Award:
Forms for APPLE Awards are sent home with K-8 school kids in April for Teacher Appreciation week. Please note the donation does not go directly to the educator but to the Foundation’s programming.
