Overview and Purpose:

The Santa Run for Education is an annual event where the community gathers to kick-off the holiday season and celebrate education and exercise. This event is typically held on the day of Bozeman’s Christmas Stroll (the 2018 run was held on Saturday, December 1 at 10:15 a.m.).

This is a chip-timed race with prizes for each age group. All proceeds benefit Bozeman, Belgrade, Gallatin Gateway, Manhattan and Monforton Public Schools. We award cash prizes to PACs of the top three participating schools, so make sure you list your school on your application form.

Course Information:

The race begins on Babcock behind the Willson Gym at 404 W. Main Street. The route will take runners in a loop from Babcock down 8th toward MSU, then Kagy and back up Willson to end again on Babcock. The Willson Gym will feature sponsors, activities and refreshments before and after the race.
*Raise $1,000, and you can secure your team’s spot in the finals. But from there on, actual spelling skill is required to win!
